Author Topic: Adding Material/Smart Material in SAT  (Read 1626 times)

is it possible to render whole texture (base color) using materials, smart materials and filters using SAT? I want the result to be a single JPG or PNG texture, with my own SmartMaterial and Baked Lighting filter applied. Exactly the same as in Substance Painter, but made via an automated pipeline.

I baked some preliminary textures using sbsbaker: AO, normals, curvature, position, normal-world-space.
I wonder if I can add those filters/materials/smart materials using SAT, and then export a single base-color texture.

Unfortuately Smart Materials is a painter concept that is not supported using the SAT.
In order to support the behavior you would need to recreate the behavior of your smart material in designer and process it.
