Hi there.

When i try to bake the color map from my high poly to use on my low poly one (both made on mud), i supposedly painted them in mudbox with the paint brush tool. Im really new to this things so im most likely doing the colouring wrong and its just not made with the paint brush. I´ve been trying to look at a lot forums but i cant get to understand what they say or simply dont find anything apart from baking it all in meshlab. Thanks for any help.

To get your baking right you need to have vertex colour on all your different parts of your model (materials), only on the high poly mesh.
In this example attached i have the vertex colour on the model, three different colour, one for each material.
