Author Topic: Median luminance value of an image?  (Read 2358 times)

Has anyone tried to get a median value of an image using Fx-Maps (or anything else)? I'm trying to offset the midpoint of a histogram [using levels] by the difference between .5 luminance (50% gray) and the median luminance of an image to shift the median luminance to 50% gray.

I know it's a very specific operation, but I hope someone can guide me on how to approach this problem.

Thanks.

Hi,

The Histogram Scan node in the Library might be what you need. You can use the position to set a specific value to isolate.

Cheers,
