The 3d Noise nodes are great, however it would be awesome if we could use them to generate tiling 3d noise lookup tables, similar to what Ryan Brucks does for UE4: http://shaderbits.com/blog/authoring-pseudo-volume-textures. These would be invaluable for advanced shading techniques.

Also, any chance we could get some 3d vector noise nodes in the future?

the lookup tables are already possible.

I'll be adding a node with that functionality to substance share, but rebuilding based on that screenshot will work :D

this goes into the position input of the 3D noises. for the 3D volumes you need to make sure to set it to position and not UV based.

shouldn't be too hard to get 3D vectors from them as well.
