OSX: iRay hardware acceleration not available

We are in discussion with Nvidia, at the moment they didn't reproduced the issue on their side (while we did).

Still no support for GPU

we are now in October and passed version 8 of CUDA and this is still an issue.
Finding it hard to believe anyone is really looking at this anymore seems that once again one company is using the other as an excuse.
Blender has alway managed to get CUDA working and they are free this is really disappointing guys.
Come give it a little priority we have been amazingly patient through this.

We have found the cause (and a solution) and that bug should be fixed in the upcomming versions of Designer and Painter.

I just downloaded a trial of Substance Painter after excitedly learning that it supports Iray and after 30min of poking around I  ended up here disappointed. Seems like you guys found the issue in October. Any eta on a fix? Im keen to use this in my workflow.

Allegorithmic had said Designer would be updated first, and full "Pascal" (GTX 10xx) support of Iray was released for Designer a few weeks ago.

So now we anxiously await the next Painter update.

Due when???  I have no clue.

Started to use Painter and Designer 3 week ago ans Iray was crazy slow on my mac (macOS High Sierra v10.13.2) and I saw that I was not able to activate the option to use GPU. I did Update my (GeForce GTX 680MX 2Go) with the web base driver and the CUDA driver. This is still not working on both program.

 I don't know if this is the reason why I don't get my glare in Iraq. I do get them on the 3d view but not when I try to do a render of it.

Let me know if there is something I can download or do to be able to use the hardware acceleration please.
