Author Topic: Animating/keyframing substance features in Cinema4D and Redshift  (Read 650 times)


I'm trying to render out animated cracks by keyframing a substance feature in cinema4D. In the realtime preview everything works fine. But when rendering the texturemaps don't get updated per frame.

Is it even possible to render animated substance sources in Cinema4D with Redshift? Unreal engine works fine when animating.

I just did some tests with lava material. This works fine when using the c4D material and keyframing the direction for eg.  Sadly the Redshift material does not update:(

It works fine in iClone, so it is possible.

I know that doesn't help you with Cinema4D, but at least it might provide some hope.
