I’m new to both Substance Painter and Designer. I am wanting to texture a high rise building model with repeating floors and windows. What is the best way to go about doing this in painter? I see information on tileable textures and I assume this would be one step in the process or workflow. Thanks for any help.


If you are repeating the texture accross the surface of a large building, I would probably just do a tileable texture in SD for a single floor/window and make that material tile in your shader in your game engine/3d app, rather than texturing it uniquely with Substance Painter.

Thank you Jeremie for your response. Could you recommend any tutorials to guide me on this topic as I am new to both Designer and Painter? I have been exploring the tile generator in Designer on the cube but I still have a lot to learn. Thanks again.
