hey i have a tank model i modeled it using 3ds max i want to know if i have a tank model how to pbr texturing using substance painter ? is there a good tutorial on how to pbr texturing in substance painter ?
i dont want to use baking i cause i just have medium poly model

You don't need to rely on a bunch of baking.
Start painting.  :)

You don't strictly need to bake any maps, but you should, because a lot of the functionality in Painter relies on the baked maps (you don't need a separate high poly model but can use your mid poly to bake). Without it, a lot of the generators, smart masks ect. will not work correctly, and you will miss a lot of what Painter is capable of. But thats your thing of course.

My point was that you can start painting immediately, and that baking does not replace other painting techniques.  But Volker is correct, you can create (bake) Ambient Occlusion, Curvature, and other maps from your single mesh (even if it is medium or low-poly) and that will enable a lot of the "magic" that Painter brings to the table.
