dear developers,
I would like to suggest you to add the vector mask feature that is available within Substance Designer, and just port it as a feature into Painter.
It would increase the workflow in Painter, cause if you need at last time to create a new mask that was not expected from first thought, we would only have to create this vector mask, store it somewhere, and than just being able to edit it or create a new one and convert it as a classic Layer mask.
Currently the workflow for none PS licensees, would be to import a model and bake the SVG, create a mask  and than load this mask into painter, and that would be too long to proceed.Eventually the best technique to go with, is using Photoshop , as it would save alot of task to setup in SD just to make a new mask.
