Author Topic: Symmetry offset  (Read 588 times)

Hi, I'm fairly new to SP and I'm pretty amazed of how wonderful it is. And I recently found that I can paint with symmetry too, I was wondering if there's an option to offset the symmetry line since my mesh seems to be asymmetric. Cheers!

The symmetry line is based on the bounding box (general volume) of the mesh.
Here you mesh is not perfectly symmetrical, so the middle is shifted.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

Yep I know T.T. Is there an option to fix this issue if my mesh is asymmetric?

Right now we don't have any setting to move the symmetry line.

:'( No problem, I'm going to request this feature for future builds.

Was requested already multiple times. Symmetry needs to be based off the pivot point, not the bounding box.

Dope is this already on Uservoice? To give my vote.
