Author Topic: Blur nodes and edge distortion (2017.2)  (Read 535 times)

When I run a shape, svg or other node into a blur (basic, HQ, and HQgrey), I"m finding that there is edge distortion (visually a minor shear of the info out at the very edge) and this is going to be an issue when generating masks, esp, svg shapes traced over bg input... anyone have any thoughts on this? I would have thought, with svg nodes at least, the blurs would in some way be aware that the shapes run outside of the extent of the borders and would not be influenced in this way...

What am I missing? Thanks....
