Author Topic: publishing error  (Read 1673 times)

Hi,
I already post it on my thread for the Titan contest but i thought i'd ask here to, maybe it'll help someone else. So I have some issue when publishing a substance, the only info I find was to check the texture size of each graph to make the consistent. It work for one of them and the second one leave me with some error. I'll leave a screen here waiting for some theorie and idea of what i need to check.
thanks

I had the same errors; switching the input textures from raw to jpeg solved the issues
wouldbe nice to be able to change bitmap format for multiple selected maps at once (didn´t work for me)

Hello,

Can you try to see if the error shows in the Console? Before you publish, go to Window>Console. Then, publish and when the error window appears, close it then check the console. The error window is getting cut off, so the actual error is not being shown. What you see currently in the screen shot is just warnings and can be ignored. The actual error is farther down the line. The Console window will let you scroll.

Please give that a try and see what it reports.

Typically, these errors are one of these two issues.

1. Embedded bitmaps are too large i.e. several 4K maps. Also, all embedded bitmaps are set to RAW.
2. There is a dependency that was used in the graph, but has been deleted.
