So i am working on an environment scene and i have come across a problem which i cannot find that is similar. So i have 2 objects, two different types of textures in two different substance painter projects. I finished the textures and ready to export them out. When i go back into maya, using the renderer Renderman i have the objects in the scene and they have one surface shaders for each. One for a chain and the other a lantern when i plug in the base material in the color for the lantern and the chain i press render and the chain is using the right texture but somehow the lantern is using the same texture as the chain
Even when i go to the file and it says it is the lantern texture but when i render it is the chain texture it is using.
So this may be a weird question, but what could be the problem?
