Author Topic: Simple IRay Question  (Read 1450 times)

Can we go into IRay without it automatically start to render? I would like to position the camera and environment before hand. I know we can pause IRay, but I can't move the camera while its' paused.

You can do that in the real time viewport before switching to iRay, the camera and environment are synchronized.

Yeah, but it still a bit dodgy.  The viewport sizes and aspect ratios usually don't match.
And then if you have the perfect composition, but do more work and rotate or zoom your view, you can't get back to the previous setup other than trial-and-error.

Gee, if only we had an actual "save camera" setting that saved the position and direction and aspect ratio of the camera.  Now where have I heard that request before?   ???
