Author Topic: Overlapping UV's question  (Read 2007 times)

Just started using Substance Painter to paint existing meshes. When I import meshes, they sometimes have overlapping UV's. I know I need to create seperate texture sets, but is there a way to "split" these UV's in Painter, or do I need a 3rd party program for this?

They can not be corrected in Painter. You need to have the correct UVs per texture set before importing your mesh. :)
