Author Topic: Naming conventions for input and output plugs  (Read 4738 times)

Hi,

For a long time when I created my material graphs I always had difficulties to know exactly which attributes I should use for the input and output image nodes in order to make them work correctly with the nodes of Substance Designer.

I eventually solved this issue by doing a review of many nodes and graphs provided with SD and gathering them in a chart.
Here it is: www.werwackfx.com/index.php/graphictools/substance/substancecat/81-sdnamingconv

Hope that will be as helpful for you that it is for me ;)

Cheers ;-)

Good stuff. Thanks!

Hi there,

You did a great job and it's really helpful. I also tried to do keyframe animation with the Gradient node, thanks for the guide too. But unfortunately, I can't download the zip Maxscript language pack for Notepad++. Could you please send it to me via email or share a Dropbox link? Thanks.
