landscape material help

I was following your youtube video "Substance in UE4: Creating Landscape Material" and i ran into a problem. the landscape appears black. Can you help me fix this?

Hi,

I think you just need to flood the landscape. I use a large brush, select the target layer and just paint over the entire landscape. Then you should be able to select the other layer and paint.
