Author Topic: Publishing Failed  (Read 1532 times)

Hey guys,

wondering how to solve problems like this when it comes to publishing sbsar.

"wrn: Can't find subgraph input:
wrn:    Input identifier: input_16
wrn:    Subgraph Url: pkg:///multi_switch_grayscale?dependency=1260970920
wrn:    From Graph: pkg:///shape?dependency=1247834381"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you had the popup window named publishing failed, like attached file ?

I need to know:
- The version of Designer
- The repro case
And if is it ok for you, the .sbs involved

Please check in your Graph Parameters if the "Output(s) computation" is activated.

Hi Damien,

thanks for your reply. I checked out all the computation outputs and they were fine. Turns out there was a Ghost Instance causing issues in my graph. Everything is fine and working now :)

If it's not too much trouble, any information about what ghost instances are and how they turn up would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again!

You get a ghost instance when a dependency graph can't be found.
basically when you open a package and Deisgner is asking for a missing file it means it can't find a dependency.

You can manage the missing dependencies by right clicking on a package and select / Dependencies..
