iv just updated Substance Painter to 2.4.1 wheres Generator gone ?

I don't know what you are talking about, you need to provide more detailed info here. In my copy of Painter 2.4.1 the 'Generator' is where its always been (right-click layer -> add generator).

maybe he's referring to the Generators sub shelf, it was missing for me as well, but I watched the video Wes created, and creating custom sub shelves is easy now! so I just added it back myself

We don't have a default "generators" shelf presets since 2.4.0 because most of the time they are loaded from a generator filter. :)

Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

same issues as zurhoch i was referring to the Generators sub shelf so iv now watched the video i dont normally watch the allegorithmic videos

all good now :)
