Author Topic: non pbr spec-gloss in unity?  (Read 1003 times)


I've been texturing my model using the non 'pbr spec-gloss' shader, and after exporting the textures using the appropriate configuration I cant seem to get good results when plugging them into the standard unity3d shader (and the normals seem to be reversed/not working)

Ive exported using the 'document channels + Normal +AO' config getting ok results however, but was wondering if I was doing something wrong? or if its not possible to get this configuration into unity?

Unity 5's standard shader is actually pbr so you should use the standard pbr-metal-rough and then use the Unity 5 export preset to get the best results. The preset will also take care of flipping the normal map.
