is .sbs available in Substance Source?

Feeling pretty stuck on stupid right now. I'm a live subscriber, but can't seem to find any reference to *.sbs files on source; only the *.sbsar files as before.

Nevermind. A) I wasn't seeing the sbsar/sbs text in the bottom right before (browser cache issue I'm guessing), and B) not all substances have the sbs.

Are you talking about the SBS file ?
If so, as you can see the author of "Metal Container Yellow" is GameTextures. And we deliver only Allegorithmic SBS.

Only Allegorithmic substances have .sbs files. Because the Substance Source has some outside partner companies making substances as well and it seems they aren't willing to share their .sbs sources.

Hi Jeremie, it seems the newly added materials from Allegorithmic don't include the sbs files. Could you pls fix this issue?

The new batch of fabric materials are based on scanned data so there is no sbs associated since they are basically only a few nodes with the scanned images and the outputs.

Can i ask a couple of things:

1)Is there a policy what substance get .sbs release and what not? Or eventually you guys plan to relese all subtsnces made by Allegorithmic?

2)Can you please share .sbs for Synthetic Quilted Diamond?

We release the sbs for all procedural materials made by us. If a material doens't have it, it's because it's a scan, like Synthetic Quilted Diamond.

There is really no point since they alle use pretty much the same graph (scan based material template shipped with SD) with a few variations, and they are extremely heavy since they use uncompressed scan data as input.

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. But I don't think I understand your response. I understand what you mean by using the same graph, but it is the uncompressed scan data as input that I'm asking for, since it seems to be the scans that are determining the weave patterns. I get that they are heavy, but they also seem useful. Am I missing something here?
