Author Topic: Any way to ouput BaseColor at a smaller resolution than the rest of the maps?  (Read 863 times)

Im working on a 2k graph that I plan out outputting as bitmaps. I am using a solid color as a basecolor so there really is no need for a 2k map of just solid blue. Is there anyway I can force the basecolor output to be smaller than the rest of the maps on the graph?

Hi,

Yes, you can set your uniform color to the lowest value supported by the substance GPU engine which is 16 pixels. Then you insert a node such as a levels and set it's output to be relative to parent. This way, the uniform color generates very quickly as the uniform color is not the same size as the output.
