Author Topic: No More 4096 Graphs Possible  (Read 3350 times)

Hi,

Looked around the forums but nothing worked
for being able to make a new 4k graph.
Changing the engine from Open GL to SSE and back,
checking settings and restarting nothing worked.

Now every substance and graph loads @ 2K.

What to do?

Hello,

The size will be dependent on your GPU. However, you need go to the Preferences>Advanced>Cooking Size Limit slider up one level so it reads 8192. Restart and then you should be able to increase the graph to 8K.

The SSE engine is bound to 2K, you have to select a GPU engine (either OpenGl or D3D10) to be able to compute images up to 4k.

Bummer, 8k cooking size limit didn't work.
Tried switch engine back n forth no luck.
Of cours closed and opened SD.

Capped @ 2K still

Rebooted again and opened SD, but still no 4K.
Made new substance new graph still capped @ 2K.

Can you send us your graph?

Even if the max size is set on 2048 during graph creation, you can set it to 4k in the graph properties: click on the graph in explorer view to get the properties and modify the width/height to [12,12]. This way you should get 4k in your graph.  :)

Thank you Gaetan.

This does work.
However I'm wondering why all of the sudden
the 4K option on graph creation is gone.
