Author Topic: Weird See through/Inside out Issue  (Read 1934 times)

Im very new to modeling and texturing so excuse me if this is a very simple problem. In substance painter my mesh seems to only be visible on the inside. Here is my model. . And here's another . When I render it out in the Rendering Iray mode it looks fine though. What do you guys think is going on here?

Your images are not visible, but I guess your issue is that by default we only show the front of a polygon, not is back.
If you want this behavior, you will have to switch for an other shader. In the viewer settingq change the shader to the one that contains "alpha test" in its name.

Thanks. So when I made my model in blender did I somehow make it inside out to where the front of the polygon is on the inside? How can I avoid this in the future?

That's most likely a modeling issue indeed.
As how to fix it in Blender, I don't know. You will have to look into it yourself.
