Author Topic: baking by name issues  (Read 2048 times)

So I'm trying to do bake by naming convention in SP. All the high and low poly objects have been matched up with _low and _high, but when I try and bake SP looks like it starts to do the baking process then the software just closes itself after a few seconds. Whats going on???

its strange. i was able to bake out all maps fine using the name convention except for normal, AO, and ID. it crashes every time i try any of those, even at 256x256 texture size

Next time I suggest attaching the txt file instead of posting it like you did, this will be more convenient.

You should update to the latest version of Substance Painter, since you are still using 2.1 and we since fixed many bugs.
Also you GPU drivers are not up to date, so I would start by updating them.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.
