Author Topic: Can't get imported textures to match uv's of model (tiles them)  (Read 610 times)


Textured a bridge previously in substance painter then exported the textures. Now I want to re-apply these textures inside another larger painter file with the same mesh inside. With the normal maps it works fine - matching the uv's perfectly. However when I try to do the same withe the diffuse (make fill layer then drag diffuse texture over) it tiles it and the texture it looks horrible.

How do I stop this and make a same result as the normal map.



Correct: uv layout normal map

Incorrect layout Diffuse, Spec, roughness etc.

What bridge is meant to look like

looking at your screen shots, the UV scale on the fill layer is set to 3, set it to 1.
