Author Topic: Trackball navigation or camera bank?  (Read 2600 times)

Hello.
Is it possible to either use something similar to "trackball" navigation (like Classic Houdini Tumbling method in Houdini) or some other means of banking the viewport camera?

What do you call the "classic" Houdini tumbling ?
Do you have a more explicit example ?
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

Ok, if you simply mean a way to rotate freely on 3 axis instead of only 2 like by default, simply change the camera behavior via the dedicated button of the toolbar. See the bottom of this page : https://support.allegorithmic.com/documentation/display/SPDOC/Toolbar

Excellent. This is exactly what I was looking for, and it has been sitting there on the shelf all that time. :) No idea how could I have missed it.
Thanks!
